Invisalign is an aesthetic dental treatment that allows us to straighten your teeth without the use of traditional metal wire braces.
How does the Invisalign treatment work?
Our orthodontic team are fully qualified and experienced in performing the Invisalign treatment. During your consultation, our dentists will examine your teeth using an advanced 3D computer. This process allows us to photograph your teeth in their current state, map out your full treatment plan, and show you your future results. Your first custom made clear aligner will be worn for an average of two weeks. During this period the teeth will begin to move at a controlled force. After this time a new aligner will be formed and fitted to the teeth and will be worn until final positioning.
Benefits of Invisalign
Invisalign is our most popular aesthetic dentistry treatment for patients who want a straighter, more beautiful smile. The aligners are virtually undetectable, making them the perfect alternative to metal braces. People may not even realise you’re wearing them! Another benefit of Invisalign is that your dentist can show you your virtual results before you begin your treatment.
How long does Invisalign take?
The average treatment period for an adult patient is twelve months. The Invisalign treatment is also available for teens, but the period for younger patients can vary. We will be able to advise the treatment duration during the consultation process.
